Last updated: January 1, 2026

policyAcceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Serversium services may NOT be used for the following activities (non-exhaustive):

  • check_circleIllegal content under Turkish law or your local jurisdiction
  • check_circleCopyright infringement, piracy, or distribution of unlicensed software
  • check_circleSpam, unsolicited bulk email, or violation of CAN-SPAM / EU ePrivacy
  • check_circlePhishing, fraud, identity theft, or credential stuffing
  • check_circleMalware hosting or distribution (Trojans, ransomware, exploit kits)
  • check_circleChild sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance, immediate termination + law enforcement notification
  • check_circleHarassment, doxing, or stalking of individuals
  • check_circleDDoS attacks, port scanning of third parties, network abuse
  • check_circleCryptocurrency mining on shared/burstable hosting plans (allowed on dedicated/colocation only)
  • check_circleActivities that violate third-party Terms of Service

securitySecurity Requirements

As a customer, you are responsible for:

  • check_circleKeeping your software updated (OS, applications, plugins)
  • check_circleUsing strong passwords and enabling 2FA on your client area
  • check_circleConfiguring firewalls and security groups appropriately
  • check_circleResponding to security advisories about your installations
  • check_circleNotifying us within 24 hours of suspected security incidents on your services
  • check_circleNot bypassing or weakening security controls on our infrastructure

backupBackup Policy

Our backup commitments vary by service tier. Customer responsibility: while we provide backups as configured for your plan, you are ultimately responsible for backing up data critical to your business. Best practice: 3-2-1 strategy (3 copies, 2 different media, 1 off-site). We strongly recommend customer-managed off-site backup in addition to our service.

speedResource Usage Policy

Shared resources (web hosting, shared cPanel) have fair-use limits — sustained 80%+ CPU/RAM usage may result in performance throttling or a VPS upgrade recommendation. Dedicated resources (VPS, dedicated servers) have no oversubscription. Hard limits per plan are documented in your control panel.

shieldDDoS Mitigation Policy

DDoS protection is included on every plan at no extra cost. We mitigate up to 1 Tbps. Attacks targeting upstream network capacity may require coordinated null-routing as a last resort. We do not bill for attack traffic. False-positive captchas are minimized via per-customer tuning.

blockSuspension and Termination

Material AUP violations may result in: warning, service suspension (with restoration after remediation), or permanent termination (for severe violations like CSAM, repeated abuse). We aim to provide notice and opportunity to remediate when possible. Suspended customers retain backup access for 30 days.

reportAbuse Reporting

Report abuse, copyright complaints, or security issues to [email protected]. We aim to respond within 4 hours and resolve within 48 hours. See /en/abuse for the full abuse reporting procedure.

updateChanges to Policies

We may update these policies from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days before taking effect via email and in-app notification.
