Sustainability at Serversium
Running infrastructure responsibly — for our customers and the planet.
ecoOur Commitment
Hosting infrastructure is energy-intensive. We commit to running it as efficiently as possible: high-PUE data centers, renewable energy sourcing where available, hardware lifecycle extension, and transparent reporting on our environmental footprint.
heat_pumpEnergy Efficiency
Our Tier III+ data center maintains a PUE of 1.4 — better than the industry average of 1.6. We achieve this through:
- check_circleHot/cold aisle containment to reduce cooling overhead
- check_circleVariable-frequency CRAC units that scale with load
- check_circleFree cooling during cooler months (8+ months/year in our climate)
- check_circleDC airflow management — sealed cabinets, blanking panels, raised floor
- check_circleLED lighting with motion sensors throughout the facility
solar_powerRenewable Energy
We're working with our utility provider to increase the share of renewable energy in our power mix. Current grid mix includes wind, solar, and hydro contributions. We publish annual reports on energy sourcing transparency.
recyclingHardware Lifecycle
Servers in our fleet stay in service for 5+ years through component refresh and tier reassignment. End-of-life hardware is recycled through certified e-waste partners that recover precious metals and securely destroy data-bearing components.
savingsCustomer-Facing Impact
By running efficiently, we keep electricity costs down — which translates to honest pricing for you. Every kilowatt-hour saved is one we don't have to bill back. Our high-density Ryzen and EPYC servers also deliver more compute per watt than older hardware generations.
flagWhat's Next
Goals for the next 24 months: publish a verified Scope 1/2/3 emissions report, increase renewable share to 60%+, partner with a carbon-offset provider for residual emissions, and roll out a customer-facing carbon dashboard showing the footprint of your workloads.
